What is this that I hear the national anthem is actually being discussed to be changed?? Because it's "too hard" or "can't understand the words to remember it". We are losing our dignity & losing it fast. Do you think our country was built by other people doing it for us? Or it was just such an easy job? Ummm that would be a negative ghost rider. Many people have fought & died for this country - many still are. But what are they fighting for? Their are men & women fighting & dying proudly for their country - for our rights & freedoms - proud to be an American soldier.
Yet here we are debating over the difficulty of our national anthem & trying to take God out of everything - apparently people need to learn history. Are they still teaching that in school? Or is it not "politically correct" enough to harm these poor children with. Or is the subject matter too hard to understand? Maybe we should re-evaluate the education system instead of being big lazy asses & just try & change everything to something easier. God forbid we have to get up & do something. Heaven forbid we have to get to a gym to burn off all those calories from eating McDonalds every day - oh nooo. We are going to blame McDonalds for making us fat - making our youth unhealthy - so we sue. What the hell? McDonalds didn't force food down your mouth or your kids' mouth. And hello? Who is buying the food for the kids? Oh I know, I know! The parents. The adults.
All in all, this is just getting ridiculous. How did things turn out for the American Indians when the government stepped in? Just saying. But that's all the rant I have in me for tonight - it's just crazy to me how much we are allowing the foundation of our country be changed by a small group of people, vs working together, pulling our heads out of our asses, quit being whiney babies who just want hand outs, & knit picking at the silly issues such as changing the Anthem, & do right by our country. God help us all
